UNIT 5: The Age of Majority

The Age of Being old in our society, Dominican Republic is better than other country because it is at 18

What's the age of majority?

The age when children become legal adults permits you to engage in new decision.
  • You can watch whatever movie you like it.    
  • The age that you are able to get married is 18. I think that could be after you have graduated from colleague and you get a job.
  • We also are able to vote at 18. But some teenegers have more capacity to decide a person for president. So, I think that could be before.
  • As well, you can have a credit car at 18.
  • You can drive a car at 18. You can have a driver license.

    Unit 5. Law and Order
    In the Dominican Republic it is necessary to create programs to educate peolple about the law and the consequences that they have to face if they dont follow the rules, and also the law needs to be the same for all the citizens because some people due to the fact that they are part of the government or authorities dont have the punishment that they deserve. For this reason the delinquency had increased.

    The age of majority in the dominican republic is 18 the law permits you do activies for examplo you should be allowed to vote , you can get your credit card, you can get married,you can Drive ,you can working,you can get licence,you can go at discotec, you can go at movie etc.the law permits you to engage in new activities at the age of 18.

    The laws in dominican republic need to be more enforced in this country do no respect the laws.the goverment need to be more strictly and the system need to be changed because the society have a lot of problem.

    The law ougth to be changed.
    Attention must be paid in class.
    The law needs to be more strictly.
    The system needs to be changed.
    The people ought to be encouraged to manage the goverment.
    The goverment needs to be more responsable about the country.

Do it yourself! Do you do your own motorcicle repairs? Well, one day i do it, but at the end was a complete disaster, were engine parts on the floor, after that, when my motorcicle get bad. even to visite a good mechanical, even to change the oil, i go there, like that care of my life and the motorcicle. About Past Perfect. Past Perfect Is a verb tense used to talk about actions that were completed before some point in the past, i mean we use to talk about something that happened before something else. The formula for the Past Perfect tense is ( HAD Plus Past Participle) It does not matter if the subject is singular or plural, the formula does not change Some examples; - When you came here i had left - Before starting my major i had studied a lot - They had gone bofore i reached - When you arrived she had already told me eveything about you - She had not met me when i was in middle school - Before this class Atilano had taught us  - I had told them the truth when he asked me

You can go to the discotec.  As of that age, responsibilities and obligations are acquired. the age of majority grants the person political rights.  Here in dominican Republic when you have a age of majority you can take out an ID.
